Ex-Uber self-driving head files for bankruptcy after being ordered to pay Google $179 million

Anthony Levandowski, a former Uber exec who oversaw its self-driving efforts, filed for bankruptcy protection Wednesday after being ordered to pay $179 million to Google over violating a contract.
