We're taught not to look for the barcode when scanning items because it wastes time.

And you always come back with a ~hilarious~ comment.
In short, working on the checkouts is the absolute worst.
It's boring, you have to deal with customers, and you have to pretend like you don't hate every minute of it. YAY!
