16 Veggie And Vegan Eats Not To Miss In Bristol

There is exceptional vegetarian and vegan dining in Bristol, if you know where to look.

Shakshouka at Souk Kitchen, Southville

The ultimate hangover or comfort food, Souk Kitchen serves Shakshouka, a rich mix of poached eggs, peppers, tomatoes, and onions, baked to perfection. Souk Kitchen is now in two locations – the Clifton branch opened earlier this year.

The vegan chocolate cake selection at Cafe Kino, Stokes Croft

The struggle is real at Cafe Kino, an entirely vegan café where EVERYTHING is out-of-this-world tasty. For starters, I'd sink your teeth into this sticky, oozing raw chocolate brownie and follow it up with some chocolate cake. With a vegan flat white on the side. Yum.

The Beet Boy at Bagel Boy, St Nicholas St, City Centre

Bagel Boy has flavour and quality oozing from its bricks and mortar, and no more so than with the Beet Boy. Huge slices of roasted beetroot, a slab of melted goat's cheese, tomato, leaves, and red onion chutney, wedged on a chewy, fluffy, fresh bagel...and maybe get a side of crunchy homemade slaw and some sweet onion rings to seal the deal?

Roasted veg wrap with vegan mayo, Roll for the Soul, City Centre

It's a community-focused, not-for-profit bike shop, an events space with a solid line-up of acts on a weekly basis, and a café serving a sumptuous, entirely vegan and veggie menu. If you haven't tried their veggie wrap with lashings of vegan mayo, get on your wheels and get down there. Find out more here.
