Former President George H.W. Bush suffered a broken bone Wednesday after falling in his home in Maine, his spokesman said Wednesday night.
Bush broke a bone in his neck, but "is fine," spokesman Jim McGrath said on Twitter.
According to CNN, Bush is being treated in a Portland hospital. No other details were immediately available.
Bush, the country's oldest living former president, celebrated his 91st birthday in June. He was last hospitalized in December after experiencing shortness of breath, and released days later.
Bush suffers from a form of Parkinson's disease and can no longer walk on his own.
